The run is the reason people show up. The coffee afterwards is the reason they stay and talk. A cart at the finish line is one of the easiest community wins going, and you can trial it for nothing.
Why the finish line is the magic spot
Anyone who runs a run club or club knows the real value isn't the 5k, it's the huddle afterwards. People hang around longer when there's a proper flat white in hand, newcomers find it easier to say hello over a coffee, and your regulars get a weekly ritual to look forward to. The coffee does social work the run can't.
Free to trial: the regulars model
This is the bit clubs like. Under our regulars model we'll turn up and trial a slot for free, guests pay at the cart, and if there's enough footfall we simply keep coming back. No fee to the organisers, no contract, no commitment. If it's quiet, no harm done. If it's busy, you've got a fixture.
Built for a field or a car park
Finish lines aren't tidy. Ours doesn't mind: the cart runs on a battery all morning with no generator, sits happily on grass or gravel, and brings its own water. We're set up and pouring within 15 minutes of arriving, which matters when the field crosses the line in a rush.
Weekly clubs, athletic meets, junior leagues, cycling groups, if there's a regular crowd and a flat-ish spot, it works.
Sussex runs welcome
We're in Horsham and cover most of Sussex and the Surrey borders. If your run or club is in range, we'd genuinely love to come and try a Saturday.
Bring coffee to your run
Tell us where and when your run meets and we'll set up a free trial Saturday. No fee, no catch.
