Deposit & balance (hosted bars)
To hold your date we take a 30% deposit. The balance is due 7 days before the event. For a first booking with us we may ask for the balance on the day instead, we'll say so up front. Until the deposit is paid, a date is only softly held and can go to someone else.
If you need to cancel
Plans change, we get it. Our cancellation terms are:
- 14+ days' notice: deposit refunded, less a £25 admin fee.
- 7 to 14 days: 50% of the deposit retained.
- Under 7 days: deposit retained.
- Under 48 hours: the full fee is due.
If we ever have to cancel on you (which we'll do everything to avoid), you get every penny back, including the deposit.
Travel
We're based in Horsham and cover Sussex and the near parts of Surrey. Travel is worked out by distance from us:
- Local (up to ~15 miles): included, no travel charge.
- ~15 to 30 miles: £35 added.
- ~30 to 45 miles: £70 added.
- Further afield / over an hour each way: price on application, we'll quote it by hand.
Your travel band is shown up front in your quote, nothing buried.
Food safety & allergens
We're a registered food business and hold Level 2 Food Hygiene. We keep a full allergen matrix for everything we serve, happy to share it, so if a guest has a specific need, tell us when you book. Oat milk and decaf are always available at no extra cost.
Insured & registered
We carry £5m public liability insurance and our kit is PAT tested. If your venue needs certificates, we'll send them straight over. Our cart and service are risk-assessed, and every booking comes with a clear written contract.
What we need from you
Not much: a level spot (indoors, a corner with room to work; outdoors, room for a 3×3m gazebo), a way in, and somewhere to park nearby to unload. Everything else, power, water and all the kit, is on the cart. More in the FAQ.
